The E-3 visa allows United States employers to temporarily employ qualified Australian citizens in “specialty occupations”. The E-3 visa is an excellent alternative for employers who are unable to hire foreign professionals due to the limited numbers of H-1B visas. An E-3 visa position must require a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. E-3 Visa candidates must hold those related degrees or their equivalent. Employers of E-3 visa professionals must comply with the Department of Labor’s prevailing wage determination for that occupation in the geographic area where the individuals will be employed.
The Bae Law Group has extensive experience in the preparation of E-3 applications for submission at various United States Embassy and Consulates and USCIS Regional Service Centers. Our attorneys consult with employers to maximize the use of E-3 visas by reviewing job positions, confirming candidate credentials and reviewing application filing options. The E-3 visa has become effective alternative for employers who are able to find talented professionals in Australia. |
